A two-day machine-specific programme for technicians who want practical training in CNC diamond cutting for alloy wheels. The course focuses on assessment, machine setup, wheel positioning, establishing a reliable reference, profile/cut planning, controlled machining, finish inspection and understanding when a wheel should not be cut again.
Diamond cutting is a precision process. The quality of the result depends on the wheel being suitable, the machine being set correctly and the operator making disciplined decisions before the tool ever touches the face. Stage 3 is designed around the specific CNC machine/control environment used for the training, giving learners a structured route through setup, machining and post-cut quality checks.
